I work in environments where certainty is limited and decisions carry consequence. My career sits at the intersection of law, transformation, and leadership, supporting institutions through moments of significant change – strategic, regulatory, operational, and human.
CAREER NARRATIVE
I am a corporate and commercial lawyer with decades of experience across sectors, jurisdictions, and complex organisational environments. Law shapes how I think about risk, governance, and accountability. But many of the hardest challenges leaders face are not purely legal – they are structural, political, cultural, or reputational. My work often lies in navigating that intersection.
BUILDING CAPABILITY IN HIGH-STAKES ENVIRONMENTS
Alongside my work in private practice and large-scale transformation, I am Co-Founder of Veritas Counsel Nigeria — a specialist platform focused on witness preparation and high-stakes communication.
The platform was developed in response to a clear gap: as legal and regulatory environments become more complex, professionals are increasingly required to operate under intense scrutiny — across litigation, arbitration, regulatory hearings and public inquiries — often without structured preparation.
Veritas Counsel equips legal professionals, senior executives and public officials to give clear, structured and credible evidence under pressure. Its approach combines ethical witness familiarisation, performance psychology and strategic communication, with a strict commitment to integrity — including no coaching of evidence and no scripting of testimony.
LEADERSHIP & COMMUNITY
Alongside my advisory work, I serve in leadership roles including Vice Chair of the British Nigeria Law Forum, contributing to cross-border dialogue, institutional development, and the strengthening of professional communities.
